Is my outfit okay for a masquerade dance?
I have a super-gorgeous mask: it’s black, covered in glitter, and has a couple feathers sticking out on the right.
Now to go with that I have a nice ruffly black button up shirt, not too formal, so not casual. I’m wearing a skirt that flares out. It’s bright red and knee-length and flowy.
I’m probably going to wear black heels and big, over-the-top jewelry.
The only problem is, if I wear a dress, mine are either really revealing or too formal or make me look like a five year old, and I am a dancing idiot– it’s kind of hard to dance in my dresses…
Do you think it’s okay? Obviously I’ll have my hair all nice and be wearing my contacts (usually I wear glasses).
I just don’t want to be the only one wearing a skirt, or the only one not wearing a dress.
Opinions? I have someone I want to impress. He’s not gonna be impressed by someone in a micromini (which I never wear, this is practically the only skirt in my closet) and a tank top, he’s a pretty mature, kind, and sweet guy.
What do you think?
It’s for school, and you know how we kids dress, super-casual even to a wedding
